Intercultural Competences, 11-15/9/2017
The first autumn course was held in our premises in Piraeus.
In this course we had the honor to host 6 trainees from 3 countries (Hungary, Lithuania, Poland) representing the following organisations: Szeged Centre for Vocational Education and Training Móravárosi Special and General Secondary School, Association of non-formal education "Abadele", Zespół Szkół Publicznych w Mrokowie.
During these 5 days our trainees learned about legislation, human rights, acquired intercultural competences as well as communication, problem solving and conflict management techniques.
A study visit was organised to the 2nd High School of Intercultural Education at Ellniko. During the study visit the participants had the opportunity to talk with the Headmistress and the teachers and discuss the challenges of intercultural education as well as good practices used for the integration of the students.
In our effort to maximise networking, disseminate our projects' results and facilitate discussions and exchange of experiences relevant to the training courses topics, we organised yet another parallel event, this time on the theme of "Training of trainers in the framework of the Erasmus+ KA2 project, MAMIDI project - Managing Migration and Diversity through Local Government Capacity Building.

Our warmest regards to all our friends: Ágnes, Ieva, Grete, Birute, Marta and Renata!
