KA3 – Policy reform
Scope
Familiarise organisations with funding opportunities of the European programmes in Erasmus+. How to successfully plan, implement, disseminate and evaluate an Erasmus+ project.

Target groups
Staff at all types of schools and organisations that provide learning, including vocational education and training and adult learning:
- Directors / headmasters
- Project managers
- International officers
- Administrative staff
- Teachers / trainers
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the training course, the participant is expected to:
- Understand the European education policies and relate them to national policies and practices
- Network with other schools in other countries
- Participate in European projects
- Write a proposal for funding a European project
- Administrate and manage a European project
- Provide quality assurance and evaluation of a European Project
- Successfully disseminate project results
- Work with international teams

The learning material consists of presentations and support material in English language.
Cost
Tuition fee: 400 euro per person
The cost includes the learning material and the certificates: Certificate of completion, Europass Certificate Supplement, Europass Mobility.
The cost can be funded by Erasmus+ programme KA1 mobility of staff.
Cultural activities (optional)
Includes:
- a walking tour of Piraeus and welcome dinner,
Indicative menu: Cretan salad, zucchini fritters, sausage, cretan grilled cheese, cretan meat balls, pork slow roasted in the oven with sauce and herbs, served with mashed potatoes flavoured with mushroom truffle, traditional cretan pasta, dessert, wine / raki
PRICE per person: 25 euros (beer or other drinks are not covered, except those mentioned above)
- a guided tour of Athens, visit to Archaeological sites,
It includes: The Acropolis hill, Parthenon, the historical area of Plaka & Monastiraki: 3 hours guided tour
COST: 150€ divided to the number of participants. No transport costs or entrance ticket to Acropolis Hill are included.
- a common dinner in Athens,
Indicative menu: Feta wrapped with honey and sesame, greek salad, black eyed peas, octopus, calamari, cod croquettes, chicken strips, burger patties, orzotto with vegetables, wine and refreshments
PRICE per person: 30 euros (beer or other drinks are not covered, except those mentioned above)
The restaurants and menu may change depending on the availability and time of the year and the weather conditions.
The cost of local transportation and the entrance fees to sites and museums are not included.

- Welcome – Introduction
- Presentation of participants, expectations from the course, personal learning plans
- Brief presentation of Erasmus + programme, focus on KA2 – strategic partnerships
- Activity: Presentation of own organisation, SWOT analysis
- Planning International project
- Activity: Define project concept, we will work all together, and we will develop a project idea that we will work as case study, throughout our programme.
- KA1 Mobility Project
- Introduction to KA1, activities open for funding

- Quality assurance
- Activity: Quality assurance plan, we will define quality criteria and indicators, define evaluation processes and tools, project monitoring, evaluation of outputs, activities and impact. We will integrate it into the project plan.
- Risk management
- Activity: Risk management plan, we will identify project risks and prepare a contingency plan.
- Time and project planning
- Activity: Gantt chart, refine and finalise workplan
