Scope
To introduce to teachers and trainers, the concept of quality culture and long-term strategic planning of teachers teams and to provide them the necessary skills and competencies to build a quality culture in the school and use quality instruments in their teams, for strategic planning. The training also deals with identifying needs within the organisation, setting goals and priorities and align with the organisation culture.

Target groups
Teachers’ teams’ leaders, teachers and headmasters, mentors and facilitators, quality officers in vocational education and training schools.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the training course, the participant is expected to:
- Understand the benefits of creating a quality culture in education and training organisations
- Motivate teachers to actively participate in teams, and engage in teams’ planning
- Cultivate soft skills (critical & innovative thinking, collaborating, problem solving) in the process of planning
- Design annual team plans and monitor their impact on a monthly basis
- Evaluate teams’ performance and provide feedback
- Make corrective actions for the existing plans and propose new ones
- Redesign the toolkit instruments to fit organisational culture and their teams needs
Methodology
The training course follows the principles of experiential learning and active involvement of participants. For each thematic unit, there will be an overall presentation of the theme and the instruments, followed by group and individual activities, in which the participants will use the instruments, discuss and reflect on their use.
The learning techniques that will be used are:

Tuition fee: 400 euro per person
The cost includes the learning material and the certificates: Certificate of completion, Europass Certificate Supplement, Europass Mobility.
The cost can be funded by Erasmus+ programme KA1 mobility of staff.

A walking tour of Piraeus and welcome dinner,
Indicative menu: Cretan salad, zucchini fritters, sausage, cretan grilled cheese, cretan meat balls, pork slow roasted in the oven with sauce and herbs, served with mashed potatoes flavoured with mushroom truffle, traditional cretan pasta, dessert, wine / raki

A guided tour of Athens, visit to Archaeological sites,
It includes: The Acropolis hill, Parthenon, the historical area of Plaka & Monastiraki: 3 hours guided tour
COST: 150€ divided to the number of participants. No transport costs or entrance ticket to Acropolis Hill are included.
A common dinner in Athens,
Indicative menu: Feta wrapped with honey and sesame, greek salad, black eyed peas, octopus, calamari, cod croquettes, chicken strips, burger patties, orzotto with vegetables, wine and refreshments
PRICE per person: 30 euros (beer or other drinks are not covered, except those mentioned above)
The restaurants and menu may change depending on the availability and time of the year and the weather conditions.
The cost of local transportation and the entrance fees to sites and museums are not included.

- Presentation of participants and the State of the Art at their national levels concerning Climate Change management.
- Ice breaking activities & expectations from the training course.
- Introduction to the training course, syllabus, methodology, learning outcomes
- The definition of Green & Blue Skills
- Sustainability transition – why turn your School into a Green or Blue one?
- The European framework for green competences and ways to exploit and partially integrate it in your school curricula
- Group activity, mind mapping: Work on your School’s Vision-Mission in the framework of environmental approach.

- Theory on how to develop Lesson plans based on Green and Blue skills
- Group activity: develop a lesson plan according to your class needs and learning outcomes
- Designing a school competition, basic steps, allocation of tasks, means of dissemination, tips
- Group activity: prepare the ground & experiment on an environmental competition

- Participatory design and ways of making the most out of it in creating a network with the local community
- Group activity: Based on the State of the Art per country, design a participatory plan and describe ways of involving local policy makers, associations and SMEs
- Networking with peer schools and ways to achieve this

- Feedback in teams, feedback methods (Hattie, Flashlight), peer to peer feedback
- Group activity: “Present your school’s annual planning in order to switch to a more sustainable school”
